Air France extends its partnership with Interactive Mobility

Interactive Mobility - Preflight

Passengers traveling on Air France Medium Haul routes over 2 hours* are now able to enjoy movies on their own electronic devices.

From October on, Interactive Mobility’s video entertainment service is accessible on 22 Air France’s flights.

Interactive Mobility’s service is plugged into Air France Press, the Airline’s entertainment app. The solution allows passengers to browse and download movies, series, documentaries, cartoons and news ahead of their flight. After boarding the aircraft, the pre-downloaded content is activated and automatically erased at the end of the journey to meet the licensing requirements.

This partnership is a new step for the start-up which is present on 3 Air France routes since march 2016. “The collaboration with the teams of various Air France business lines (R&D, Marketing, Digital…) made this operation successful. We are very happy that our service can be reached by 6 million passengers !” says Interactive Mobility’s CEO, Tanguy Morel.

Over the past months, the service has been progressively upgraded with newscasts added to the selection. Together, Air France and Interactive Mobility teamed up to created an enriched version of the service, with contents renewed more frequently. By the end of the year, the catalogue range will also be significantly broadened. Up to 70 videos will be available for the greatest passengers’ delight.
